The Golden Globe Nominations Benjamin Button Heath Ledger And Tom Cruise

Hollywood

Who knew that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is to appoint the same way? As the Motley crew Rainn Wilson Brooke Shield, Terrence Howard (pissed still trying to be left out of Iron Man 2) and Elizabeth Bank ticked off year best in television and film, there were some obvious choices - a co-leading five nominations forThe Curious Case Of Benjamin Button Frost each - and more than a few head scratchers. For example, did the Weinstein Company head Harvey Weinstein employ some type of Rod Blagojevich pay-to-play tactics to obtain the much-maligned adaptation of the reader four nominations, including best film? We hope so! You can see the complete list candidates at the Golden Globe web site. We have always considered the Golden Globe awards ceremony to be a silly / fun excuse for elite Hollywood to celebrate themselves and get drunk. In the meantime, here are some snap judgments.
